Switzerland’s most prestigious professional boxing event took place on December 26th, 2024 at the Kursaal Arena in Bern. I witnessed the electrifying WBO Intercontinental title defense of Angelo Peña. And he won that thing in an incredible manner! Damn! Afterwards he said it was an easy one.
There were 8 bouts featuring Swiss boxing talents, including Gabriela Timar’s WBO International title fight, rising star Félix Meier, and the powerhouse Benoit Huber from the canton of Valais. All of them won their fights.
I really enjoyed it ringside once more. It’s so intense and so close.
