On my three weeks roadtrip I enjoyed an Ice Explorer ride at the Columbia Icefields and hundrets of waterfalls, expansive glaciers and lakes on one of the most popular driving itineraries in western Canada.

Highlights were the Canadian Rockies, Whistler, Jasper, Lake Louise, Lake Moraine, Banff and the spectacular Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic drives in North America. Of course I went up sometimes early to spot wildlife. And I saw some luckily. And i did a lot of photography, but it wasn’t the main purpose of that roadtrip.
